About Key Programming

Modern car keys aren't just cut metal — they're programmed to communicate with your vehicle's security system. Getting a new key working means talking to that system directly, using manufacturer-grade equipment most independent garages and locksmiths don't have access to.

Why It's Not a Quick Job on Every Car

How involved key programming is depends heavily on your vehicle. On some models it can be completed through the OBD diagnostic port relatively quickly. On others — particularly Range Rover and other JLR vehicles — it's a genuinely deeper job requiring direct work with the vehicle's internal security modules. Newer models can be more involved again, sometimes requiring work across more than one module.

This is why we ask for your make, model and year before quoting: it's the difference between a straightforward job and a specialist one, and we'd rather be upfront than surprise you.

Lost Car Key Replacement

Spare Car Keys

A spare car key is a must and if you for some reason miss one, we can make it for you in minutes! All you have to do is call us and give us information about your car make, model and year and we can confirm immediately that we have the necessary parts to make it!
We can make a key for almost all car makes and models but still, we have to be 100% sure before your visit. After this, you are welcome to come to our service and have your spare key made!
For emergency occasions, we can come to you with our service van and make your key even faster.
